I did this by doing each stroke or section on a different layer then went into the motion part of photoshop and turned them on one at a time and built it up until it was done. Eventually I'll color it that's why its a WIP TuT
We made movie posters in animation class, I had a lot of fun doing it. My poster was inspired mostly from video games and while I was listening to Slime Girls which is a band that makes 8-bit sounding music :> I designed GAMER GRRRL myself with inspiration from Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Riven's arcade skin from League of Legends. I took "THE WORLD" part from the Scott Pilgrim title and the "VS" from League of Legends just because I liked it more :> I also show the credits I used at the bottom of the poster, I just got it off of google :/ I used a lot of different tools for this image and I'm very proud of myself :> I used methods such as selecting, rotating, resizing, copy and pasting, beveling ect.... I also gained experience with layers, line work, coloring and filters. For the background I used two filters, first, I used the cloud filter under render using blue and purple, then, I put a pixelated mosaic filter on top of that. I think it looks really retro which is good 'cause that's what I was trying to achieve :D
We're learning brushes now so to test it out we painted over an actual photo to make it look like a painting. I'm excited that we're learning this so now I can make my own backgrounds and characters.
I went crazy with the color replacement tool and changed the color of Link's shirt, eyes hair and bow. I also used the spot heal tool to get rid of some of the small sparks and for the bigger ones I used the clone stamp tool. This picture is from the new Legend of Zelda game called Breath of the Wild which I'm very excited to play as soon as I get the chance ^u^
